SmartAID is an international non-profit organization. SmartAID deploys clean energy, connectivity, and life-saving technology to communities impacted by natural disasters and conflict, restoring power, communications, and dignity when and where it’s needed most
No, we are proudly apolitical and non-partisan, focusing solely on providing aid where it is needed most. We work with over 200 government ministry partners to ensure aid reaches disaster areas and directly benefits local organizations and individuals.

We take your contributions seriously and are committed to delivering innovative, life-changing solutions with them. You can read our Impact Reports to see the impact of your donations.
Over 98% of the funds raised go directly to projects, with around 2% for administration and fundraising. This ensures the effectiveness of our work and helps us raise necessary funds for continued impact. Visit Candid profile to view our published Form-990.

Credit Card: Click ‘DONATE’ on any page to provide a one-time or recurring contribution.
Direct Deposit: Please email us to request a Direct Deposit Form in your region.
Donor Advised Fund (DAF) Giving: Use our DAF Direct link if you hold a DAF account with DAFGiving360, Fidelity Charitable or BNY Charitable. (Click here to learn about DAF Giving.)
Corporate Giving: We are registered with Benevity (Global), Good Company (AU), GoodStack (Global).
Yes, donations to SmartAID are tax-deductible in Canada, the US, the EU, Australia and the UK. You will receive an email receipt/invoice at the time of your donation.
In the United States, we are a 501(c)(3) registered charity (EIN: 82-3229884).
In Australia we are ACNC Registered ABN: 40 639710811 & Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) endorsed for all donations over $2 being tax deductible.

The most impactful way to donate is through a general contribution to the SmartAID Humanitarian Aid fund, as it allows us to direct it to the most urgent needs. However, you may direct your donation to a particular program via the DONATE button.
