Today, in Gaza there are approximately 45,000 orphans with many suffering from malnutrition due to shortage of food and clean water.

Gaza Children Village's charity “Academy of Hope” school, founded by Dr. David Hassan, supports 600 orphans in central Gaza, providing two hot meals a day, emotional support, medical care, prosthetic fittings, and quality education. This school will serve as the foundation for a village that will host 5000 children in the coming year.
