Deploying rescue teams after Mexico's earthquake

Mexico was struck by a devastating earthquake that caused widespread destruction and loss of life. Thousands of people were affected, and the disaster claimed the lives of many. In response, SmartAID (formerly iAID) deployed a team of professional volunteers to Mexico City to assist with the aftermath. Our team focused on the collapse of an eight-story building and a nearby school, which tragically fell while children were inside.

The team worked tirelessly to rescue the children trapped beneath the rubble, managing to pull many to safety. Sadly, not all of the children survived the collapse, and the loss was heart-wrenching. Despite the challenges, the team's quick and skilled response helped save lives and provided critical rellief in the midst of the devastation.
